CANADIAN MILITARY SEXUAL TRAUMA COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE (MST COP)

Summary: More than 40 researchers, clinicians, and policy leaders from across Canadian universities, government departments, and non-governmental organizations, as well as representatives with lived experience of MST. Organizations represented in the MST CoP include CAF, VAC, SMRC, DGMPRA, CIMVHR, CoE in PTSD and Related Mental Health Conditions, INJ700, ServiceWomen Salute among many others. Purpose is to engage in meaningful knowledge exchange that contributes to the collective understanding of MST, while exploring opportunities to increase research, knowledge translation, and to enhance public awareness of MST, and therefore, is ideally situated to help disseminate research such as this. Through the network, meetings have been scheduled (and continue to be scheduled) with stakeholders to identify potential areas of research and support that can be provided by the Network.
