MENTAL HEALTH IMPACT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ON HEALTHCARE WORKERS AND PUBLIC SAFETY PERSONNEL
Summary: The purpose of this study is to understand and characterize the effects of COVID-19 on the mental health and functioning of HCP and PSP, including the influence of intersecting minority identities and minority stress. HCP and PSP from across Canada can complete an online survey and semi-structured interview, or online survey only. In addition, participants who belong to racial, gender, or sexual minorities can complete a second semi-structured interview and survey. Findings from this study will inform novel approaches to mental health programming to address the needs of Canadian HCP and PSP.
